RC rock crawling is a test of your driving ability and concentration but above all it is a test of the machine. Sometimes it is a slow procedure sometimes a brute force procedure. It is however growing in popularity.
Acme Tech have realised the potential in the marketplace and produced a masterpiece in the RC Crawler. Made virtually 100% of aluminium it looks amazing and performs brilliantly. It features a 540 motor set up and a gear ratio of 1:147 for powering up rocks. There are many other features as listed below and when it arrives all you need before you start are eight normal batteries for the handset.
The wheels are machined aluminium bead lock and these are extremely strong. The tyres have a tread pattern ideal for most rock crawling areas. The gearbox is made from high strength machined aluminium and includes a window which enables you to see the gears inside. There are also solid drive shafts and steel gears all perfect for rock crawling. The axle carriers are machined using aluminium for strength.
