As well as Petrol Model Cars there are a wide variety of Nitro RC Cars such as the Lightening Strike below. This is one of the cars from a range designed by Nitrotek which contains many upgrades similar to the ACME range of cars but with their own extra touch and high spec’s on this Nitro Rally Car.

It comes with an automatic two speed gearbox as seen on the ACME Condor Pro, aluminium shocks and large 18 size engine. Aside from this there are also some differences such as the new design body shell where a buggy shell has been taken, redesigned to fit a rc rally car. As well as looking great it also does very well off road so can go elsewhere on tracks and terrain where other nitro cars and remote control cars cannot. Inside you will find a high quality team infinity engine which are designed and maid in Taiwan and come with a carb which has also been designed for easier engine start. The engines are much easier to adjust than other nitro engines on the market due to a single tuning needle but does not lower the power this car can produce. ACME Cars come with wheel type controllers but these cars come with traditional stick controllers which many people prefer. More Nitro Cars also available.

Discontined – See the full range available here

Below is an article on Nitro Radio Control Cars.

For a huge range of Cars from Nitrotek, you can click the image to view the complete range.

There are many types of nitro radio control cars to buy during December this year, some of which are listed below. What people need to remember when looking at nitro rc cars is that they taken a while to run in as the engine’s are delicate machines, and the repairs and maintenance needed to keep these rc cars running and optimum speed and to keep them from wearing out quickly. Even simple procedures such as using the correct tyres depending on the terrain and weather can reap rewards. Totally different to a normal radio control cars which use electric and are usually found as presents to members of your family for Christmas and Birthday and great fun indoors or out. They usually just need a simple charge and away you go.

With Nitro Remote Control Cars they need a specific procedure to run them in as we mentioned above. This is like when you buy a new car for the family and the tyres, breaks and other internal and external parts are brand new, you have to make sure you do not push the car even if it is not anywhere near its limit speed wise, or pressing hard on the brakes otherwise you could damage it and be very costly.

So when you are running in your car, you need to be patient and complete the steps required for the nitro fuel to flow through the engine which also removes any substances left over from manufacture even if this results in stalling, its all part of the procedure.

To run nitro radio control cars you need to use specific nitro fuel you buy from model shops and a large canister can last you many full fuel tanks work and time when playing with your car. Much quicker than having to charge your car up if you had purchased electric rc cars. Due to them using nitro fuel, means they accelerate much faster than electric cars to which can only be a bonus.

This is the ACME Cyclone 2 with the Remote Contronol Subaru Body Shell. Available on the main website is a video to see this car in action

as you will find it has been designed and build for speed. See out Nitro Cars page for access to the main website

The Cyclone Radio Control Cars are aimed at entry level so ideal for someone who has already own Nitro Radio Control Cars but who would like to upgrade to Nitro Cars.

Even though this is a entry level car, do not under estimate the speed this car can produce. It has been designed with a very strong chassis, Shaft Driven 4WD system

and is a ideal on road car with its fantastic speed. Ideal for a Christmas Gift to someone looking to get into rc cars.

Available in a choice of body shells
