If you are looking for mini electric helicopters then this model from Model-X will do the job nicely as it is the worlds smallest 4 channel helicopter at just 175 in length. When it comes to mini electric helicopters, this has got to be the best with its palm sized specs and great for indoors fun.

These helicopters are becoming increasingly popular, it’s ideal for any gadget fan or just for anyone who wants fun with a indoor helicopter. The design and engineering which has gone into these is second to none and come with a 4 channel controller with a long range. Many two channel mini helicopters just go up down forwards and backwards but these can do all that plus rotate both left and right, bank left and right and with a range of a hundred meters or two so ideal if you are looking for something which is small but similar specs to full scale mini electric helicopters. All this is a helicopter which fits on the palm of your hand, a good rechargeable battery with a flight time of around seven to ten minutes and a United Kingdom Plug.

Additionally, this cute little helicopter comes in a box which looks great as a gift box so an ideal present this Christmas. Recommended for ages over 14 years of age.

When calibrating rc helicopters, the controller needs to be set properly otherwise it will not calibrate properly so the following settings need to be
set on the controller

1. the left stick needs to be all the way down
2. the left vertical trim needs to be all the way down
3. The rev switches, both the bottom front right on your controlled need to be down put to DOWN, UP, DOWN, UP in that order starting from the left and then the right
4. If you rc helicopter is a 6 inch model then the idle switch which is found on the top left of the controller is set to the off position

Once these settings have been put in place, then turn on the controller and then you should connect the battery to the rc helicopter. You should find a red light on the
Receiver will flash a couple of times before turning green

If you complete all these settings and the calibration is still not set, then complete the following checks

1. The rc helicopter battery is fully charged
2. The same for the controller batteries
3. The frequency plug is inserted into the receiver properly
4. The same for the controller
5. Both the frequency and receiver number matches both
6. All the buttons on the first section above are correct and not just set half way. You can check this by turning them in the opposite direction and then back again
7. The controllers Ariel has been fully extended

If after all these checks it still does not work, contact the supplier

On 6 Channel RC Helicopters, you get a radio controlled model which have the main blades which can change their pitch angle. Basically, to see this you put

your rc helicopter on a table and look at the tip end of the main blades, the chordline of the blade can be tilted through a range of angles by the servos.

In this sense, the rotor disk of a heli is a bit like a variable-pitch prop on an airplane. If your helicopter is hovering in the air, and you want to make it climb straight

up in the air, you just increase the pitch of the main blades and turn up the throttle which means the helicopter can overcome the drag which increases and the blades

keep turning at the same rotation speed before the throttle was increased and the helicopter will rise

Overall the more you increase the pitch of the blades, the more the lift given to the rc helicopter. At high throttle the engine puts out more power, but there is a corresponding increase in the load on the engine due to increased main rotor blade pitch, and so the engine stays at the same RPM’s.) The general increase in pitch means that the helicopter will climb and is called collective control.

On a 4 channel rc helicopter, the pitch angle of the blades is fixed in places but as we said above, the 6 channel helicopters blades can be changed in pitch.

This Apache rc helicopter is easy to fly and looks amazing. This model comes with twin blades as do other models on the market but none look as good as this rc helicopter. Anyone can fly a twin blade rc helicopter so ideal for people with no experience, beginners and at the end of the day, just for fun. No more need for hours of practise, just start it up and away you go.

Please do not confuse this with toy helicopters though as this has fully functional 3D controls. You will find on the market, a similar two channel apache rc helicopter but does not let you have as much control over the machine as this one. This is better as it contains 4 channels so allows you to move it up, down, left, right, bank left and right as well as forwards and backwards.

All you need to get going are 8 AA batteries, it comes with everything else.

The -Hobby Micro X rc helicopter is one of the most sought after rc helicopters so now available from Nitrotek. This is one fantastic fun helicopter, and ideal for any gadget or techie lover. Not to be confused with lower spec and cheaper 2channel and 3 channel rc helicopters you may have seen elsewhere for sale, this is one fab engineering marvel and comes with a full 4 channel long range radio control reciever. As you may or may not know, 2 channel rc helicopters are only able to go up and down or roate and cannot go far before going out of range. This allows you to go all sorts of 3D controls such as a left, right, bank left, bank right, move forwards, backward and up and down. Also, it has the ability to travel a couple of hundred meters in distance before it goes out of range, just like its full scale cousins. What is amazing is this rc helicopter is just the size of the palm of your hand. Driven by a rechargeable high capacity battery, which gives 7-10 minutes flying time. A charger is included with a UK plug.

Great high quality and packed in a smart gift box. The design uses counter rotating blades so easy to fly. Great fun for all the family and friends, so an ideal present to yourself or someone else.
