I first started looking into Petrol Remote Control Cars last Christmas, that’s 2006 as a present for my brother so I purchased him a remote control Subaru which he loved. As my other brother has never really been into cars I got him a remote control helicopter instead of petrol remote control cars. This helicopter is very lightweight and great fun as it shoots all over the room, but you do need to put a weight on the nose of the helicopter to make it move forward due to it being so light.

I must admin, the thrill of buying the car and helicopter was almost as much as buying a model for myself but the excitement of giving the presents to my brothers was great. The remote control Subaru runs from electric instead of Petrol but does not stop the fun indoors or out.

Depending on what kind of car you are looking to buy yourself or a member of your family this Christmas depends on several factors to decide if you want a electric model, nitro model or a petrol fuelled car. Electric Cars as you well know as they are always popular need charging up for a little buy before run them whereas petrol remote control cars need fuel to make them go. The fuel they use is usually unleaded petrol as in the petrol you put in a normal car, but adding in a small amount of 2 stroke oil but the instructions will tell you how much. One of the most popular manufactures for these petrol models in the United Kingdom is XRC Racing who produce the XRC Buggy which is very popular.

The prices of petrol models used to be just under a grand, well maybe a hundred or two less. Now due to several reasons you can buy petrol remote control cars at such a low cost you would think the design, chassis and parts would be substandard but far from it. There has been significant research done by XRC to lower the cost of Petrol RC cars and also the fact that the parts are all made in the same factories now, whereas in the past they used to be made abroad, then ship them to the UK for assembly.

There are other types of Petrol driven cars such as the ShengQi RC Monster truck which is one powerful vehicle.

You can buy any of the models above by simply clicking on the image or the car which will take you to more information, price and the any video’s which are available to watch the model perform.

As Christmas is approaching, remember to order in time and any orders which are placed before 1pm are dispatched the same day with FREE Postage and Packaging using Royal Mail Recorded Delivery.

Unfortunatly the XRC Petrol Car is nolonger available.

However, there are these three superb Petrol vehicles below to choose from

As with the XRC Buggy and ShengQi Monster Truck, this RC-1 Car used to cost over£700 but is now available for much less within the United Kingdom.

With these RC Cars you get all sorts of extra’s which you do not find from other supplier’s. These include a special 1:5th steering servo, electronics battery pack and charger and even a tool kit for repair and maintenance. This car comes in either red or blue and a pack of stickers to customize is as you wish.
